STAFF MOVIE
Who can tell you more truthfully and beautifully about the internal processes of an organization? Of course, its employees! We used the stories of real employees of the pharmaceutical company MIRAX as the basis for the video.

Every three seconds, one frame is replaced by another, adding dynamism to the video. The filming took place in more than 10 locations. It was not an easy task to implement, but we are not afraid of challenges. We captured Moscow from a bird’s-eye view using a quadrocopter. With these images, we wanted to show that the changes at MIRAX are as pleasant and refreshing as a summer city.

During the filming at the production site, we had to comply with sanitary safety standards — to treat the equipment with alcohol wipes, to wear overalls. In addition, we brought a large number of lights, cameras and lenses to each location. The video turned out to be human and understandable. The client was satisfied.
SPORT INFORMATION SYSTEM

The promo video for the State Information System "Physical Culture and Sports" is so exciting that after watching it, you might want to sign up for a workout.

The main secret of the video is its dynamic nature. We show a variety of sports, and we do it beautifully. To achieve this, the team specifically waited for sunset. For the swimming shots, we used underwater cameras and equipment with a high zoom level, allowing us to capture every drop and detail.

During post-production, we experimented a lot, rearranged the frames, and created graphics that demonstrate the system’s functionality.

Our task was to present the client’s products in a reliable way. We decided to do this by telling stories of real people who work for the company. The roles of these people were played by actors, who were chosen by the director of casting.

Filming took place during the height of the pandemic and there were several locations planned. When it came time to shoot the main scene, there was another outbreak of the disease. And the contracts with the venues were broken one after another, putting the project in danger of cancellation. As a result, we rented a bus and found a service station and set everything up so it looked like a car maintenance center in St. Petersburg.

This was one of the most difficult projects to complete, but even the pandemic didn’t stop us from executing our plans!
SIBUR
CORPORATE VIDEO
The video for the SIBUR trade union was shot entirely in a studio. LED screens allowed us to diversify the background. This is a versatile tool that FLYFILM often uses in its work.

At the pre-production stage, we came up with a general concept and linked it to modern technology. Another reason was that the client wanted a space-themed video, but there was a tight deadline, so we proposed a concept for a space-theme studio. Filming took place in a friendly atmosphere and the most difficult aspect was calculating the correct amount of pyrotechnical smoke to ensure it didn’t end prematurely. As a result, some smoke tanks were returned to the warehouse.

During post-production we focused on color correction, added text boxes and incorporated graphics. But this is just a matter of practice :)
HAVAL SERVICE

We were tasked with showing how responsibly HAVAL service center employees treat their work. They not only maintain the machines but also take care of them.

To do this, we created a video demonstrating the level of attention to and attitude towards HAVAL clients. We obtained special permissions to film in the city. Footage of the car’s journey was taken using a crane — FLYFILM frequently uses this equipment for filming mobile vehicles. In order to find empty roads, we analyzed traffic patterns and sought out the best time. As a result, a map was developed of the movements of the film crew. This helped streamline the logistics of film production, and we had sufficient time (even with a buffer) for the required shots.

Once again, we confirmed that preparation is an essential stage in film organization.

Combine strictness and creativity? And we can do it! The video for the unified system of information and analytical support for the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is proof of this.

During the pre-production, we created a detailed storyboard, wrote voice-over text, designed locations and graphics, and all of this was done in stages and according to timing. Filming took place in the heart of the city, with 90% of people in the video being actors and only two shots filmed with real employees. We built a call center in one of the spacious rooms of the building, using all these tricks to avoid distracting real employees from their work.

The post-production stage began with editing the storyline, and then, to meet the deadline, we simultaneously worked on color, sound and graphics. It sounds incredible, but no edits were made to the video. The main thing was that we conveyed the idea and provided a comprehensive explanation of the system to leave the client satisfied.
